    Isn't that John Voight's car?
  2. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

LMC sent me a new relay but it didn't work, must be a problem with the Chicom harness. The horn doesn't work either and I'm going to have to add a 12v outlet at least, so I'm thinking I'll just run new, thicker gauge wire and replace the old stuff. The harness does work, but it's running...
  3. Daily Driver Porn!

Three on the tree is not ideally suited for an Atlanta commute, but my daily driver for the last three weeks.
  4. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

I did protect the system, but I'm going to have to break down and order some relays online, no place I've checked has them in stock. Good news is no issues after a week of commuting to Atl. And I'm much better on the stick now.
  5. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

There's grounds at each headlight, not one at the relays. I did prep the metal till some shine at each ground location. You can pull one relay and it still works on the one setting, but it works with either relay plugged in.

  10. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

While they didn't really help yet, I emailed LMC and got a reply within an hour. It's being forwarded to someone the knows something, but CS was at least responsive.
  11. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

Not it. Switch the relays around and the same switch position works both ways.
  12. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

I'll try. I thought one relay was for each headlight, but if it's one for high and one for low...
  13. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

Install of the headlight relay harness went fine. It was literally the exact right length, I'd much rather have an inch or three of play though. I left the headlights on for 15 minutes and they didn't turn off, so problem solved and I can drive it to work while worrying about my other vehicle...

Thanks. The relay harness came in yesterday and looks pretty easy. I have the day off and hopefully will have it done shortly.

  18. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

I might. I also have a horn that doesn't work. I've got two repro sidewiew mirrors, gaskets for front and rear windshield and a couple small things coming in the first order.
  19. Need help with a '68 F100 around the Conyers/Covington area

Found one on LMC and ordered a hopefully "plug and play" harness this morning. The bad part is I ordered $200 worth from lmc on Saturday and I could've added this if I knew it existed and not taken the additional shipping hit. I thought it was something shorting out or a loose ground and...
