That's not MEK. It's the "substitute". Doesn't strip paint as well, I hear. (The good old MEK-based aircraft stripper would just peel it off, no labor involved.) -

My Surprised there aren't aftermarket fobs with a little cover over the keys... Or deeply recessed keys. I hate the panic buttons personally. That seems to be what I always set off via pocket. So I cut the traces on the board to disable it. There's a product idea here. Harder to press... -

OK. No argument from me. Still good cars though! Even with that horrid "Bose" sound system-- sounds like my 1984 Cavalier factory stereo. Infiniti needs to wake up and smell the coffee on that one. Really, Bose? In a supposed high-end car? The "white zinfadel" of the audio world. Shudder. -

Uh... the Skyline in Japan is the Inifinti G35/G37/etc. Check Youtube. Same thing, though I don't do 150 MPH through tunnels in my G35. Can't vouch for the other brands you mention but the Skyline has been around forever. You are correct of course, that it's not marketed as "Infiniti". And... -
