Tacomas are pretty nice in every department except 1, i am 6 foot 3 280lb lol. tacomas are for short skinny people.
i have decided against the maverick as well. i got into another f150 from my escape i used to have and i am enjoying having leg room again to much to go back to something smaller...
ive done curt brand from etrailer.com on my past 2 vehicles. no problems, easy install with great instructions and videos online.
etrailer.com also has a great return process in case you are a dummy like me and order the wrong one for your truck.
hammer on a 19mm to get them off, or buy a 19.5mm. its not a rust thing, its just a ****ty design thing.
buy solid ones of amazon and replace all of them.
Jeep people are weird. my brother and his wife are jeep people.....weird i tell ya.....alwaya yammering on about these damn ducks people be putting on their jeeps....weird people!!!
Regular cab = best cab! Those regular cab 5.7 tundras a absolute monsters with that trd supercharger.
Used truck prices are insane still, but they are coming down looks like. I lucked out on a amazing deal with my trade and the price they had on this one back in December. Its good to know...
the maverick has more interior room than the new rangers. im 6 foot 3, 300lbs and i sit very comfortable in the maverick. cant wait for supply to come back so i can get one lol.
Soon as the cars come back to the lots (i aint paying no "market adjustment" markup bs price) i hope to get one. they are super comfortable and all the truck i really need. i was looking at downsizing to a ranger from my f150, but the mavericks have more interior room. im 6 foot 3 300lbs and the...
oh and i ended up with a 17 escape with the newer 2.0 turbo in it. more room for sure than the subiwo crosstrek. i felt the comparable year rav4s just felt like i was sitting in a 20 year old car lol. the interior felt very dated on them. i drove a 19 rav4 for about a month and was pleasant, but...
i sat in a crosstrek when i was car shopping a few years ago. im 6'3" 300lbs and i was able to get in it.......but it is cramped for me. would not want to ride in it for more than a few minutes lol. and in the drivers seat...my head was cocked to the side. imo i would go with an outback, much...
i used a kit like this when i rebuilt a 82 nighthawk. https://por15.com/products/motorcycle-fuel-tank-repair-kit
if i did it again i would of set up some type of rotisserie for it to auto spin it when cleaning/sealing. if the inside of the tank is bad, when cleaning add some nuts/bolts in there...
i have zero plans to use the light bar on the road. im not that asshole that does that and blinds everyone lol. its for back roads when deer hunting/fishing/camping spots so i can see where im going better. im only 2wd in that escape lol. dont wanna get stuck. the rear pods though may or may not...
well i found a WAAAYYYY better option with no drilling. KC makes a rubber channel that goes on the outer edge of your windshield to run the wires down. attaches with sticky tape. ive got me one on order, hopefully be here soon.

bronco sports are staying on lots cause everyone is waiting for the full size to release.
hopefully ill be in a position to get mine when they release. 2 door with Sasquatch package is what i want.
the turbos do go out, but very rare from what ive researched since i bought my escape.
the only really big problem would be the coolant issue. there is a ford tsb about it. coolant can leak into the #3 cylinder causing misfire and all sorts of other issues. if this happens, its a new block. ive...
ill prob buy 2 of the 12g wiring from them. its a good price and probably about the same or cheaper than i can piece it together for. i might go for their lights also after some more research on them, decent pricing for cheapos.
my main issue is im worried about what the silicone might do to my...
