Haven't shot the LCP Custom yet, but the trigger is supposed to be a significant enhancement over the original from what I'm told. Shorter reset and the trigger break isn't as close to the back of the frame. Nice sight picture too, including adjustable rear sight.
Just came back from a visit to Big Woods Goods. I was informed Ruger distributors had a significant price reduction on the LCP & LCP Custom models. Great deals here, and some nice people to deal with.
LCP Gen II - $199
LCP Custom - $215
That price should have been on the aluminum rounds. If you got brass you got a smokin' deal. WW is carrying Federal aluminum cased ammo now. Nice deal for those of us who don't reload
They're just putting out ten boxes of American Eagle. 55gr 5.56 in 90 round packs. $43.97. Same WalMart on Bells Ferry in Woodstock.
It's not green tip but it won't last long either.
Just watched them put out ten boxes of American Eagle M855 150-round packs at the Bells Ferry Wal-Mart in Woodstock. I have all I need so leaving it for those who want it. $69.95 per box
I have to amend my original message. Apparently the person I spoke with yesterday at Bargain Barn misquoted, or I misunderstood. They have M855 in stock and the price of $180 was for 300 rounds, not 200 rounds as I originally posted.
I realize some have sworn off supporting Dicks. If that's you there's no need to read further.
Dicks in Kennesaw and Canton still have a pretty good supply of American Eagle M855 Green Tip 5.56 in stock. They're 150 round boxes and I believe they're priced at $70 or $75.
This is important. If...
Not being flippant here, but the "Method"?
I'm thinking you mean where it was posted in "Steals & Deals". Yeah, I agree. Should have just been posted under "Ammunition"
I don't have any issues with the ad though. I'm in advertising and I can tell you this ad is doing what it's supposed to do...
That's pretty much my point. I wouldn't buy it. But I don't begrudge anyone who does.
I have no data to back this up, but I suspect the guys who constantly complain about M885 and 22lr ammo prices are probably sitting on a ton of it. If you don't have any, and you need it, you're gonna pay...
I dunno. The guys at CG&P have always been good to me. I don't have a problem with their ad or the price. Not something I'm willing to pay when there is so much other ammo out there. But that's the beauty of capitalism. I'd rather see the market ignore them than the government regulate what they...
