the government isnt your dad. the government is the guy in your freshman year of high school who is running for class president. Then he wins and makes a rule about not wearing jeans with holes in them. you look at him and go "WTF dude?" he says "its more respectable, and its safer anyways."...
  6. Breathalyzers, Textalyzers and the Constitution

Oh I am familiar. I could connect the dots about how it only took a small minority of freedom loving men and women to set into motion the biggest and best expirament in freedom the world has ever seen. How we have unleashed the power of the individual and created more wealth, innovation, and...
  7. Breathalyzers, Textalyzers and the Constitution

    still wondering
  8. Breathalyzers, Textalyzers and the Constitution

I do feel a need to defend freedom. Mostly because this society has lost its adults that will do that. In the 1700s we were fighting to the death for it. now, its cool to justify intrusions on freedom because of "feelings", and "safety", and "terrorism", and all the other bull****. Look man...
  9. Breathalyzers, Textalyzers and the Constitution

uh huh. I have no problems with police either. I do have problems with making little bull**** laws. if they wanted to TRY to stop assholes from drinking they would have mandated a breathlyzer ignition interlock on EVERYONE's car, not just felons. Know why they dont? because freedom.

They are for teaching people lessons. This time, a lesson in freedom. Every incremental intrusion is still an intrusion. You are just going along with everything. Grow a spine and tell these people to **** off.
  16. Breathalyzers, Textalyzers and the Constitution

Every time I drive I almost hit an asshole on a bike. No functioning brake lights, or turn signals, breaking traffic laws at will while displaying a "share the road sticker" I hope people pull their heads out of their asses and stop allowing bicycles on streets. People are dying out there.
  17. Breathalyzers, Textalyzers and the Constitution

If they were taking your DNA and storing it somewhere, it would be different than a breathalyzer. What do you think they are doing with the stingrays? What do you think they are going to do with the data they download? Think they might tag your ODT membership, pictures of guns, or anything else...
  18. Breathalyzers, Textalyzers and the Constitution

isnt there a saying about freedom vs security, and having neither? I'm pretty sure there is. If agents of the state start pulling people over and downloading phones, this would be a bad thing. Period. Also, I will get a burner and leave it in the car because I value my privacy.
  19. Supreme Court likely to hear new “assault weapons” ban case

I liked that so much, I just made it my sig.
  20. Supreme Court likely to hear new “assault weapons” ban case

tease all you want. I'm a good sport about it. I know that deep inside, lots of ODT'rs would like to see this ****er burn so we can build whats left into something better. Stronger. A Libertarian paradise. BUT its taboo to say things like that. Pretty sure its passed time to water the tree of...
