And that's how you go to jail for murder (assuming you are as good as you think you are and your pistol skills beat his rifle skills). There are much better ways to handle the completely legal situation.
Sorry friend, but you are incorrect. It's called appendix carry, and I've practiced it plenty of times with either hand. Seatbelt goes across my beltline, shirt goes over top. Even with strong side carry, your seat belt should be across your hips/chest/shoulder and not the grip of your pistol.
This is the car equivalent of open carry in a garbage nylon holster... It's legal but it's a terrible idea.
Also why give an officer cause for alarm and a reason to pull you out of the vehicle and search the area you can reach? Why give up the element of surprise in the event of a car...
Being a police officer doesn't make you a lawyer or mean that you understand the law. Plenty of officers out there that don't. And thanks for arming criminals, you should lock that stuff up inside the car if you plan to leave it there...
It's not an opinion when I can back it up with facts. I have some magnets like what he's talking about, I use them to do things like stand up rifles when I pull them out of the safe. If you are able to pull the pistol off with one hand (drawing your pistol), then that magnet will NOT retain...
Everyone should give you a hard time about it because it is a terrible idea. Your pistol should be in your holster unless you are using my it...not on a dash magnet that will let it fly all over the car should you slam on the brakes or experience a MVC.
Return it or trash it, it's a great way...
Too bad they don't tell people that, I was looking to buy a couple things and when I asked, they told me that the online store had nothing to do with the retail location and I was out of luck. Cost them a sale for sure.
