  1. UPDATE 10/3 - Injunction covers all FPC members - ATF publishes their pistol brace rule

Unfortunately even a bare buffer tube provides a "shoulerable" surface that you could shoot from. No bull****. Read that earlier on in the ruling this morning and my jaw dropped.
  2. UPDATE 10/3 - Injunction covers all FPC members - ATF publishes their pistol brace rule

It should be noted that anyone who registers JUST to have a free stamp, is just adding to the "See? It works! People WANT to register! Let's start a COMPLETE firearm registry!" argument when this undoubtedly goes to court. Just wait. There isn't any ****ing way this sticks. Only NFA what you...
  3. UPDATE 10/3 - Injunction covers all FPC members - ATF publishes their pistol brace rule

Form 1s were taking 30-120 days normally, now there's going to be 40 MILLION applications somehow done in 120 days? Get the **** outta here.
  4. Contact the ATF to keep pistol braces legal (merged threads)

Made mine as well. With a nice picture too.
  5. Contact the ATF to keep pistol braces legal (merged threads)

ODT be full of em. Luckily these old codgers just spooge over grandpappy shotguns, hunting bs, lever actions and 10/22s more than anything else. I'm hoping that most of them don't own AR pistols or anything of the sort.
  6. Foregrip on an AR Pistol. New technicality?

I think someone said that since BCM markets it as a "Vertical Foregrip" that no, it wouldn't be, but by the ATFs interpretation it would be since it's clearly not 90* perpendicular of the bore. So strange. To muddy the waters even more, is when people chop these grips to make handstops. Like...
  7. Foregrip on an AR Pistol. New technicality?

My dude! lol. Hard to tell sometimes! I'm getting old.
  8. Foregrip on an AR Pistol. New technicality?

Noooo. Thats how more rights are taken; better to ask for forgiveness than permission!
  9. Foregrip on an AR Pistol. New technicality?

So what are the parameters of what constitutes an ANGLED foregrip, exactly, as it pertains to an AR pistol? According to this link, ( https://imgur.com/a/BtvLGzQ ) the federal government doesn't strictly define what a vertical grip is, but the ATF finds that it's a grip that sits 1) forward of...
  10. OAL >26"... Vertical Foregrip?

Something else I thought about, is the OAL is measured in its smallest configurable state, shouldnt it be measured from the end of the brace itself to the threads? Why the hell would I need to measure from half of my product as it wasn't designed to be fired from the buffer tube as it's a brace?
  11. OAL >26"... Vertical Foregrip?

That seems to be the only thing I've found. But holy smokes, you mentioned "OAL" "26 inches" and "VFG" anywhere near a Roswell gun shop and you get all kinds of rage... I guess they just spooked me a little is all.
  12. OAL >26"... Vertical Foregrip?

I'm starting to almost not even want to mess with it anymore, as I'm getting conflicting reports left and right. 2 local gun shops have told me not just "no", but "HELL no" when putting a VFG on a braced AR pistol that's OAL exceeds 26", but I can find letters and some YouTube videos that say...
