  1. Justice Department Announces New Rule to Address Stabilizing Braces, Accessories Used to Convert Pistols into Short-Barreled Rifles

They have done it before, though in much smaller instances. Like when the Cobray Streetsweeper was reclassified from shotgun to destructive device after its release. I think the estimate is about 40 million braced pistols, assuming 50% compliance that's four billion in tax stamps that the...
  2. Justice Department Announces New Rule to Address Stabilizing Braces, Accessories Used to Convert Pistols into Short-Barreled Rifles

Well that is what they want but I'd wager that eforms is gonna be completely borked for months and possibly years because of this.
  3. UPDATE 10/3 - Injunction covers all FPC members - ATF publishes their pistol brace rule

Sure, as long as the furthest permanent part of the barrel is 16" then it counts as a rifle barrel. Like I saw this 10/22 barrel designed for steel challenge, it's 5" of barrel then 11" of lightweight shroud to make it rifle length.
  4. Justice Department Announces New Rule to Address Stabilizing Braces, Accessories Used to Convert Pistols into Short-Barreled Rifles

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/justice-department-announces-new-rule-address-stabilizing-braces-accessories-used-convert Well they did it, ATF is saying 120 days to register braced pistols as SBR's or to make em rifles. EDIT: Didn't see there was already a thread in firearms chat.
  5. Biden to unveil executive action on guns tomorrow

They've been teasing it for a while, but looks like Biden's droppin some executive orders/actions tomorrow https://www.politico.com/amp/news/2021/04/07/biden-executive-actions-guns-479704?__twitter_impression=true I'm guessing he's gonna direct the ATF to reclassify braces as stocks. ATF has...
  6. Feinstein introduces Assault Weapons Ban

Bill doesn't give a damn what it's used for, if a pistol can accept a detachable magazine and has a threaded barrel then it's an assault pistol. What this bill does is make basically every semi-auto pistol in existence an assault pistol. ‘‘(D) A semiautomatic pistol that— ‘‘(i) has the...
  7. Feinstein introduces Assault Weapons Ban

This bill has been submitted quite a few times, and basically the only thing that changes is the year they put at the top. Even the list of exempted firearms is still titled "FIREARMS EXEMPTED BY THE ASSAULT WEAPONS BAN OF 2017" in the bill. Think the PMR 30 would be included though since it...
  8. Feinstein introduces Assault Weapons Ban

Maybe, though I don't think it's time to panic on it yet. The bill's still DOA in the Senate unless the dems go ahead and nuke the filibuster.
  9. Feinstein introduces Assault Weapons Ban

Well it happened again, Feinstein has submitted the assault weapons ban bill that she submits every year. Only this time it'll probably pass the house given the results with HR 8 and HR 1446...
  10. Open carry an SBR

Hmmm, I do also have an UZI that I SBR'd.
  11. Open carry an SBR

With the leather surplus holsters they're cut for the 10 round mags, like this one.
  12. Open carry an SBR

I really didn't plan on open carrying it, but I was kinda curious since the VZ 61 is small enough to be holstered. Though it'd basically be like open carrying a Desert Eagle with the size of it.
  13. Open carry an SBR

Hey y'all, so I just got my VZ 61 sbr'd and I was kinda curios what the legality of open carrying an SBR is since I have a waist and shoulder holster for it. Any different then open carrying a rifle/pistol? I do have a Georgia carry permit.
