I bought a "new" gun once from a local store and called S&W to ask about the accessories that should have come with it. The guy told me he couldn't send them to me as it was a used gun.
I contacted the store and they couldn't have me return it fast enough.
I agree. No I did not sit through the trial so I didn't see the evidence.
What I did hear were jurors and potential jurors NOT following the judicial process as laid out by the judge. The gay fellow I mentioned that was on the jury made the comment that it was not what Hill did, it was what...
This guy was very, very gay. You'd know it if you heard him speak.
I suppose if they played the whitey card, of course he would not be found guilty. I'm just shocked he slipped every single charge.
He did have a good legal team though....
I'll say this, I heard a LOT of things during my time in the jury process that led me to believe he would walk. These people didn't care about the facts.
To be fair, I did not sit through the trial.
However, there was a very effeminate gay black male that made it onto the jury and I said...
Most of the time a jury is selected from a pool and then culled down to around 24. Each side is then given 6 strikes and you end up with 12 jurors. This case the numbers were greater and so was the pool and the culled down number. Each side got 9 strikes I believe.
I believe I would have been...
The things I heard other potential jurors say was quite an education. One female was very vocal that the laws were broken not the people breaking them. A male (that made it on the jury) said he "didn't give a damn what the law said. If he (Hill) didn't do it, he didn't do it".
Just from what I overheard other jurors say, he has a good chance of not being convicted. Everything I heard was depressing but is a microcosm of our country now.
Either way this goes it'll be bad.
Not guilty = riots and targeting of violence towards whites.
Guilty = now you have to fear the gubment if you are attacked by someone of another color and use deadly force. One other thing, thugs will be emboldened by the possibility that now people would be...
From a legal standpoint, how does Zimmerman following someone that attacks him somehow lessen his legal ability to defend himself? I understand he wouldn't be in this mess if he hadn't followed at all but could the same not be said for someone that knowingly goes into a shady area say parts of...
Ok,let's change slightly. Suppose the guy violently enters your home by kicking in your door. I'm sure you have justification to use lethal force at that point.
Does the castle doctrine of Georgia not address entering a home uninvited? In this day and age, you'd be unwise to assume anything other than someone doing you grave harm by coming into your home uninvited.
I thought this law protected you criminally and civilly in the very unfortunate...
"My client was in fear for his life as he saw his child's beloved pet being viciously murdered. Assuming he was next, he protected himself."
Let an attorney do the talking.
