    There was a local folklore story about a reactor monster (mutant bear) that ate local cattle and deer etc. Pretty good story when your are teen in the woods at night with drunk girls back in the seventies. Billy Beer. Man that stuff was nasty.

    Went all over there in the late 70's while in High School. Never went under ground. Great place for a 4WD Jeep back then. Got 35mm photos from back then showing Danger Radiation signs. Great place to camp and take drunk girls. Oh the days.
