  2. All these "what makes this sound?" threads got me to remembering....

    Maybe a great horned owl? Can have wingspans of up to 5’. Not so sure on the screeching. They’re usually a deep hoot. Do a search on long wingspan screeching birds.

    Bingo. Got a fox on the cam from the other night. Looks like I’ll be setting out some wet cat food and hanging out on the back porch for some late nights. Will a .22 be sufficient? Never done any fox control. This must be the little ****er eating my ripe tomatoes.

    Saw another user posted about some strange animal calls/sounds. My turn. No idea what this sound is. It’s not an owl, never heard a bobcat make this sound… around 28 seconds you’ll hear a loud bang where something fell out of a tree. Sounds huge, but then the calls stop...
