    At one time there was actually an ODT app, but it didn't work very well. In fact, I still have it on my iPad but rather just use the web browser.

    First, welcome to the ODT. I don't think there is a way to keep them from showing up in a search. I have never found it to be a problem. I just skip closed or item gone posts.

    Skipping below the bad links or your solution of refreshing the page may deal with the problem, but it does not address the source of the issue. The problem is these links coming up within the ODT.
