I understand the entire concept of "working in the hole", only getting paid once a month, etc but those are all situations where the employee fully understand or should fully understand the pay schedule and when they are getting paid. I just feel as though the difference is these people dont...
No you weren't working for free. You knew the terms of when you were getting paid. HOWEVER if you were told you would get paid once a month and you didnt get paid when you were suppose to and the company told you to keep working but that you'll get paid eventually then what would you think?
Its a difference when you know you get paid once a year and budget accordingly vs normally getting paid weekly or biweekly and then dont get paid for 30 days. Basically they are working for free. If your company came to you and told you that you werent going to get paid for a month but they...
Need is subjective. Nowadays people are spending A LOT more time in their vehicles and so they want creature comforts. Do you need bluetooth or XM or a backup camera or blind spot monitors? No but its nice to have and some of those safe features have saved people a lot of money in accident repairs.
I havent read all of the replies but heres my take on why we're seeing 84 month terms. The prices of vehicles are going up and people need to be able to afford it. Leasing got people accustom to being able to afford a cheaper monthly note on a more expensive vehicle than if they were to purchase...
So does it say what national reciprocity mean? Can I carry in NJ and DC or is it only allowing me to carry to states that already has some reciprocity?
This is taken off of NRA-ILA: "The bill, H.R. 38, ensures that those Americans who can legally carry a concealed firearm in one state will legally be able to do so in every other state. It eliminates the confusing patchwork of state laws that have ensnared otherwise law-abiding gun owners, and...
I think @karlvv30 is right based on the first article linked. Its like remember how for the longest time SC wouldn't honor GA permit because you don't need any trainer in GA but you do in SC? It would basically eliminate issue and force SC to honor the GA permit. So it might not effect states...
Just depends on if theres any language that says a state must issue a permit. Maybe leave it up to the states to issue what qualifications and processes are in place but make it a must issue state. Other than that this bill might not do much for residents of that state if they have to get a...
Yea some states already dont honor non-res permits. It might be that NJ/CA/NYC residents could be out in the cold when traveling to other states unless the bill has shall issue language in it for them
I would say it's more than that in total because former LEOs will get a permit issued to them but if you exclude them then yea that's probably an accurate number. I only knew one guy that had one. He was a gun collector in South Jersey that I brought a shotgun from. He was buddy buddy with the...
Before I read the article I thought they were starting something new, but yeah it has to do with the lack of requirements required to get an ID in those states.
I dont think normal aftermarket triggers will be affected as they dont accelerate the rate of fire of the gun. Maybe those triggers that shoot once on the depress and once on the release but not a lighter trigger.
Funny thing is if she didnt have a set of knockers no one would pay her one iota of attention. There are thousands of guys that do stuff like that every day in every city and they get 0 recognition, except their small following on social media. If one of them died doing that they would get...
