    You're absolutely right. I try my best and I've surprised myself at how much I can interpret. It's a tough fight when--not trying to air dirty laundry--my dad doesn't take an active interest in helping.

    When she was in the hospital for a week prior to getting into a home, they were using Google translate. The current nursing home has someone who speaks only Russian and no one can translate for her.
