    I have to agree. I made a few kydex sheaths and holster but they are certainly not my favorite. Call me old fashioned but leather just makes all the difference. Maybe it is a "form over function" thing.

    What do you mean by thinner? Thinner material? I have done a couple of Kydex ones but i much prefer the leather.

    I started making knives a while ago. While I find it very fulfilling and fun, I am of a mind that making the leather sheath is the same amount of fun and takes a whole other skill set. I enjoy them both and I would like some other opinions about it. Do most knife makers also make their own...
