  1. Knife in your pocket today?

No pic cause I'm lame, but Leatherman Wave all day every day. Been that way for the past year and a half. My other pocket knives gather dust
  2. Can an ax be too sharp?

I thought that mauls were for splitting and axing were for chopping/shaping/etc...

  4. Full Tang MORA for 2016

It's gonna take more to get me hyped than just a full tang. :)
  5. Knife ownership poll

I've got 2 Kershaw Leeks (one frame lock, one liner lock), an Inron MY803 cause I'm too poor for an XM-18 or ZT 0560, and a Leatherman Wave. I haven't been able to find an excuse to buy more than that.
  6. Any of you guys edc a fixed blade knife?

In. I'm also contemplating the switch. I use my EDC knife for everything and I always manage to get the nastiest junk in the folding mechanism. Yes I wash it from time to time... One of my folders is totally down right now until I get the proper Torx wrench to take it apart. Got silicone in...
  7. Any knife guys in Coweta County?

My recommendation would be to get a Spyderco Sharpmaker or similar system. From what I understand, it will take quite a while for you to sharpen a knife as well freehand as a complete noob can do with a Sharpmaker. But of course there's no art to that. If you've got a little free time...
  8. Becoming a fan of Kershaw

The safeties are stupid anyway. I took it out on my EDC knife. I've never had it open accidentally... but before I removed the safety, it would engage on it's own all the time, requiring two hands to deploy it. Drove me crazy
  9. New knife advice

Another +1 on the Kershaw Leek for EDC. They're relatively inexpensive, lightweight, and low-profile (but still a useable length). I've been carrying one for a couple years now and haven't been able to convince myself I need anything else. Get a liner lock model with aluminum scales. I have...
  10. Best CC fixed blade knife???

Meh, most will agree that knives are not good self defense weapons. Get an LCP and carry anyway. :)
  11. Knife in your pocket today?

Kershaw Leek. Been rocking it for a year and a half, I guess. It's slim, lightweight, and more than substantial for my EDC needs.
  12. Cold Steel Double Agent

+1 I just recently used Amazon's return service and it was quick and painless. Money back in my account in a timely manner.
