    That is also a problem! A 36" dot and a 22X scope seems less than ideal. But I'll see what you guys can do with my guns. Surely it wouldn't kill the CMP to paint the X (6") white/orange/something besides black. Folks with open sights won't be able to see it anyhow.

    Sheesh. No, not me. A shooting buddy, who may very well see this post. An honorable young man, that grew up shooting with me. I got him shooting elephant guns at 16. He has a lovely bride, and sorry guys-- I'll have to meet y'all another time.
