  1. Let’s see those long slides!

45 Super currently configured for 45 acp. The 1918 Remington isn't too shabby either.
  2. Happy 1911 Day!

This one was gifted to me, By serial number it served in both WWI & WWII. I do have the wood grips, the wood was oil soaked and soft, I wrapped them up for safe keeping.
  3. Any MAUSER experts on here, I have some questions

Sorry for the delay Gents, busy weekend. I only have this one additional photo available. I will try to dig the rifle out this evening and take a few more.
  4. Any MAUSER experts on here, I have some questions

Not to hijack any ones thread but since we have some folks far more knowledgeable than I ..................... I have a Mauser marked DOU 41 and G24t, I believe the receiver S/N is 2xxx, I'll have to dig it out. I have no intention of firing it but would like it suitable for display. I'd like...
  5. "Black Colt" from 1919

Great link, thanks! My serial number is low 4 digit and preceded by an x but I have not found any arsenal marks as of yet. I'll have to do some more research later tonight!
  6. "Black Colt" from 1919

A keeper for sure!! I was given this hand me down but unfortunately it was after he passed. I know nothing about it other than it's a 1918 that was made under license by Remington. I have the original grips and holster. I'm trying to locate a two tone mag at a fair price but have had no...
  7. 10/22 drawing?

Count me in in for a chance or two.
  8. Walmart Shotguns

I have 3 500's but have always avoided the 88. I'm not going to knock the 88 as I have never owned one. There's something about made in Mexico with a 1 year limited warranty that turns me off. 500's currently have a 10 year.
  9. Ruger mini 14 30 rnd mag for only.....

Now it's at 139.99 with three bids. I need to jump on this band wagon and part with some mags and ammo.
  10. Mini 14 Mags??????

  11. its all the same........

  12. Glock help

Can't speak for a gen 4 22 but my gen 3 30 has the pin. I took my slide off, having never taken the lower apart I have no idea exactly what it does but I don't think I'd try to run it without.
  13. Winchester Model 1892 32 WCF

Thanks guys, from what i have learned it was manufactured between 1895 and 1898. The refinishing did destroy the serious collectors value but it's a very respectable piece for anyone that would like to shoot it or that maybe a non-purist collector. I believe he's going to advertise it on here...
  14. Winchester Model 1892 32 WCF

I'm trying to gather some information on a Winchester Model 1892 chambered in 32 WCF. It belongs to a friend and he'd like to determine the value in order to sell it. It has a 24" hexagon barrel, SN 88XXX. Over all the condition of the metal and wood appears to be very good. Unfortunately it...
  15. What kind of gun and caliber is your wife/girlfriend/mother carrying?

Mine carried a Walther PPK/S .380 for years. She Switched to an SP101 .357 after seeing how ineffective the .380 could be. A year or two ago she suddenly switched the a Glock 26 9mm. She still prefers the SP at the range but all she carries these days is the G26. My mother carries a small frame...
  16. Scope Suggestions For 44 Mag

I'm looking for a scope for one of my Redhawks. Everytime I get serious about buying one I keep leaning towards Leupold FX-II, 2x. I totally understand that you get what you pay for in optics and Leupold is top of the line in quality and customer support. I don't want to invest in a scope...
  17. Looking for gun show advise...

    X 2
  18. Should I have bought it?

I have a couple and like them. Yeah there's more accurate for the $$$ but they've always suited my needs. For $475 you wouldn't lose. If you didn't like you could easily turn it and might make a couple of bucks. Worst case is you would have tried something new and have broken even if you...
  19. What was your first serious carry gun & how did you carry it?

6" S&W 686, holstered on the hip! That was in the early 80s, where I lived in NC it quite common to be in the grocery or hardware store and not being the only person openly carrying.
