    I built this one from scratch a while ago. I just tried my hand at laser etching on the slide flats. It turned out freakin' great! This is my favorite 1911 to shoot and carry, now it is also my prettiest. I blurred the SN, in case you were wondering.

    Personally, if I get woke up and need to use a bedside pistol, noise is my last concern. Not exactly a situation where I am worried about waking someone up with the noise. :D

    OK all you experts out there. What am I missing? I have seen a few subcompact pistols out there with threaded barrels. I was under the impression that folks bought pocket pistols to carry in their pockets or on their ankles, etc. Would it not defeat the purpose to hang a long-ass can off...

    FNC1-A1. Spent a lot of years attached to one. Can't get them now. Canada destroyed them all when they went out of service.
