Well I recently took a job with pretty good pay, so it looks like I may be getting furniture and a few guns on my list. There may even be a can in my future.
Unfortunately I'm about to turn my gun funds into furniture and kitchen appliance funds. Possibly the only time in my life that I'd rather have a couch than a new gun.
Maybe to fit in a smaller computer bag? Looks good though, I dig the stock. I'm not sure if I want to hunt down a Charger, a NAA mini, or just add mods to my Takedown next.
I'll end up going with something else besides green. It's more of a lime than OD. I had a buddy that actually sent his back. I'll probably go with gray or copper next.

Mine had Dead Ringer Snake Eyes on it when I traded for it. Liked them at first, but I like Trijicon and Glock sights better. I use Hyve +2 on two mags and Taran Tactical on another. Both work great. Hyve's green is a lot lighter than expected though.
They sold out, but I believe they're ordering more as of two weeks ago. I go to church with a guy that works there, I can ask him when they'll be in.

I wasn't really sure how much I'd like the takedown, but I love it because it suits me so well. I'm living in an apartment for the next two months and I try to be discreet with my guns. I can take this to and fro without catching a second glance.
I'll probably get some of each, or try trading off some more stuff in my parts box. I have more foregrips than I need.
I was set on an old, cheap 10/22 that I could add and to as I went, but $300 out the door wasn't a bad deal to me. The backpack it came with really sold me.

Yep, Midway has them on sale right now. I like the look of the 15 round mags a little better for some reason. Thanks for the advice on the trigger group, I might have to add that to my list.
Picked up my first 10/22 the other day and threw a Vortex Crossfire 2-7x32 Rimfire on it. I shot a suppressor for the first time using this and some subsonic rounds and was really impressed. Might have to get my first can, along with some 15 round mags..
I use a 60's 1100 that's a fixed modified for duck hunting and haven't had any problems. I wouldn't take it to the main flyway to hunt, I use newer guns out there, but it gets the job done over here. If you plan on going through a lot of rounds, I recommend a Stoeger if you're on a budget. I'm...
Everything on this build is from ODT except for the the BCM upper receiver and T-pod. Traded my black furniture out the other day for OD. Just needs a BCG, CH, and barrel to finish.
