  1. Favorite .22 pistol

Have a few and have owned many. Smith 41 is my favorite.
  2. WHAT 400 DOLLARS GOT YOU IN 1979, WISH I PURCHASED MORE

I bought a 4 inch nickel python at the Rod and Gun shop in Stuttgart Germany in 1975 for $200 NIB.
  3. A Smith no-dash treasure fell into my lap today by total surprise.

41 is a great underrated caliber. I like to load and shoot 41 Specials in my 57 for target rounds and very accurate.
  4. Rank your top 3 pistol manufacturers #1 being your favorite.

Older Models mostly: Colt S&W Ruger
  5. Done

The man said I don't want any more land except whats next to mine.
  6. 9mm handgun with least recoil and... go!

9MM Ruger New Model Blackhawk. I have one with the 357 and 9MM cylinders in the Stainless Flat top and its a pleasure to shoot.
  7. POLL: How much should 1 round of 115grn 9mm FMJ brass cased new mfg cost?

I had 1000 rounds of 9MM and sold it for less than .30 round so I guess I got ripped off. Same thing for 45 ACP sold it for same price. Now you can't ever reload it for that, if you have the components.
  8. HSP Jack Carbine.

Used to see them for sale. Have seen one on here. I like some of the parts like the flashlight mount. I have one on my BCM. I have an older BCM with the original rail.
  9. What was your first gun you ever purchased?

Colt Python 4 Inch Nickel at the Rod and Gun Club in Germany in early 70s. Paid $200 for new Python. At the same time the S&W 66 was about the same price and not available, hard to find.
  10. OPTICS PLANET SUCKS

It is a complicated time. I have ordered from them for several years. I have been able to get some items recently at normal reasonable prices, but sometimes it takes time. Some items are worth the wait if you need them. At least their prices are close to normal.
  11. M400 any good?

I have a nice Holosun 503GU with box and all. I guess $200 would be a good price. I think they sold for around $360. I think it has the instant on feature with red Dot and Circle.
  12. Do you think they being Smith and Wesson will ever remove..............

I will not have one with the hole. I have several smiths and love them but they are older models. In my opinion this is the worst thing they could have done to a nice revolver. If it has the hole I pass.
  13. Bucket list guns

Colt Heavy Barrel Match 22 Target. Just have never been able to get hold of one.
  14. What's your favorite barrel length for an AR ?

    14.5 with Mid Length.
  15. What's missing from your collection?

I have more than I should have. There is two I am interested in. 1. A Colt Heavy Barrel 22 Target. 2. A Dan Wesson VBOB (Sold all I ever owned).
  16. Nicest factory wood stocks ever made...

I have a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight and they have some pretty nice stocks also.
  17. .22LR shopping

For the Price I vote Ruger. Try to find a nice MK II used. My personal favorite is my S&W 41 and Colt Woodsman. I have the regular Woodsman but I am still trying to find a nice Heavy Barrel Target Woodsman if anyone has one for sale or knows of one let me know.
  18. The gun you never buy

Colt 22 Woodsman Match Target Heavy Barrel. Don't know why but I just can't seem to get one. It has always alluded me. I think I have or have had just about everything else I liked, but just can't seem to find the Colt 22. I have the regular Woodsman and still have a couple of Pythons, S&W...
  19. Vortex hit a home run with this one.

These are great Red Dots. I have both the 1X and 3X. Good to have a sight even if batteries die. The 3X is like an ACOG. It has a very clear image and the circle is great for fast target acquisition. Gives the ACOG some competition especially for the price.
