Haven't had the chance to watch the movie since opening day we were at Hunting camp but will definitely be seeing it soon.
Love the fact that he not only had great choice in guns, was a bad ass but was a fan of Nightforce Scopes!!
Thanks for the geography lesson. He did ask for a range that was near I-75 nowhere in my comment did I say it was near there. I was just giving him info on one of the outdoor ranges that I know about. We do that here on ODT. Give nice friendly advice.
Oh this bad boy is pretty heavy for me and I'll probably use a shooting stick if I'm standing but I have no problem prone. The recoil is smooth I was very surprised. It's really fun and enjoyable to shoot.
Yes it weighs a good amount probably just as much as I do..Let's just say me being the size I am I won't be holding it up too long..lol. Do have to say that it shoots awesome though.
The front unit is FLIR T-70 thermal. Behind it is the NF. Thanks we finally got to sight it in this weekend and will be using it as a hog/coyote killer.

It allows me to see my hits and you can even see the trace of the bullet. You can only shoot as well as you can see. There are other companies that are more expensive but I think it that price range you listed you will be quite happy with the product.
5.5x22x56 is...
I was was going to say that.. Listen to chief he's rough around the edges. Lol. Have fun!! It's addictive and extremely fun. Practice good gun safety because you will get your head chewed off. Not to mention it should be done as a natural reaction anyway.
They have offered it for a while now one class a month...we took it just for fun and to shoot at their range. Just make sure you bring your own ammo but if not you they sell some. It was an informative class regarding laws and not to mention FREE
You can shoot at gun site hills...in Lexington Georgia. 800 yards. I think it's $20.00
We shoot long distance but it's in Alabama and about two hour drive. 1000+ yards
