    Looking everywhere for a decent deal on a Marlin 30/30. Found 3 today in my area and all have different - and +. A 1974 336A with scope that is well used for $300. A limited edition Deer Hunter model that I understand was for Otasco stores $300. Then a really nice 1984 Mountain man edition...

  6. Can you swap bolts from one rifle to another

    I did find this same question on another forum and the head clearance was the concern. My thought is that all these guns were mass produced and the parts should interchange but I guess they all could have gone thru a final setting of some type. I will contact REMINGTON and see what they say.

    I've wanted a 30/30 for years and never got serious about buying one. I want something like they used in the old west I guess. Nothing fancy, no scope, just plain jane Marlin or Winchester. Whats the difference in them. Side eject versus top eject. Thanks for any info. Jim

    OK so I'm new to the 9mm thing. Been shooting 22,38 and 12 gauge all my life. Recently bought a S&W 9mm Shield. Today I made a trade for 5 boxes 9mm luger shells. Box also says 9mm PARA and has Lellier & Bellot on box. Made in CZECH REPUBLIC, Good or bad ammo.
