    Have you tried putting in the rear pin with the front pin pulled out and the upper just resting on the lower? I usually find the front pin hole on the upper to be the most common culpret in this scenario. The front of the upper sits too tight to the lower and keeps the rear from setting down...

    How and why would someone fake the barrel, the Eliasin sights, the custom scope, two sets of Colt Custom shop grips, the Haliburton case, all the tools, and destroy a genuine 1982 Colt Python in the process. I just don't think that's the case at all.
