My EDC is now a Shield......in the past I have carried a G19 and G26......if you go with the Shield do like I did and pick up several of the extended mag for it......I also liked the XDs when I tried it, but have owned several Smiths and they were always 100% reliable, so I went with the Shield...

Hunng - I thought that the only "proprietary features" are the barrel nut and delta ring for the handguard. It was my understanding that a standard barrel nut wrench will still works and that you can change it out with a regular Mil-Spec barrel nut if you with. Please let me know if this is...
