    there's a Holosun dealer that sells new and factory refurbished on ebay. he accepted my offer for $250 for a new one including shipping. It was listed at $298 but had the "make offer" option. You can find the hs515c for approx. $50 less I think. Not much of a difference, just the housing.

    Picked up the new Holosun HS515CU for my AR pistol. Very impressed so far. Eotech style reticle with Aimpoint battery life. I have an Aimpoint T1 so I am familiar with "better" optics, but I guess time will tell. BTW, anyone wanna buy my Sig brace? Apparently they're "gay."

    Have the ACT in 4 or 5 of mine and love them. Also have the PSA enhanced fire control group in another build and it seems to be just as good. Caught the PSA on sale for $25.

    I don't think testing any firearm straight out of the box is a good assessment of performance. They all run better after a little break in.

    I have a P226, P229, P938, and P220. The P229 is my favorite. Just a good size and fit for me. Plus my 229 is a Legion, may be why I favor it so much. They are all exceptional weapons.

    Dropped the Apex kit in my wife's 642 and couldn't be happier. Much smoother and lighter without being too light. Easy install too. If I remember the numbers correctly, I think it took the pull from 14lbs to 9lbs.

    I've enjoyed mine for years. I use the C products mags and haven't had any feed issues. I also haven't had a bolt break nor have I heard of that being an issue. I did however, buy an extended length firing pin because the standard pin was light striking the steel wolf ammo.
