One of my carries is this in 357 Sig. I can't imagine it'll go through windshields and such with much weight and speed retention but I live in a full house and as I only need this to go through casual clothing at best, I can't think of a better load (except this in 10mm).

I usually shoot at state park outdoor ranges, occasionally at indoor ranges near me. The past few times I've gone to outdoor state park ranges, it's been packed. I want, and mean, to go on "off times" but I can only go when I can go if you know what I mean.
