    Sig Sauer P365 - Anybody own/shot one?

    Got one. Loved it. Best performance out of a small frame that I've shot. The only failure I had was the slide not staying open after firing the last round. Only happened once, but if it happens again I'll be on the horn with Sig.

    Good guns for the money. Finish is a bit thin on the O/U models I had (Redheads). Never had a mechanical issue. Love their handguns, especially the 75BD and 97BD.

    So right. It's preference. More importantly, it's getting a gun she's comfortable with to the point she'd carry it and practice using it. I can always get her into a bigger caliber if she feels comfortable with it.

    Hadn't really thought about that, but makes a lot of sense. Same reason why I usually put 38+p's in the snub nose revolver rather than .357's.
