I've got two good ones!
Took my father on his first waterfowl hunting trip (snow goose conservation)..he is not much of a hunter or a gun guy. I found a great deal on a Super Vinci and picked it up for him, it was a right handed gun and he is left handed... (my fault). Couple days into the hunt...
Same boat... purchased everything on Black Friday. I just got the RMR in yesterday.
Ran a few mags through mine and I like it. Gotta get the RMR dialed in and take it back out for full break-in.
Shout out to FatAlbert for knocking out my slide cerakote and sights installed(free)
Was getting ready to do a 700 build then these come out and they look promising and much cheaper then a 700 build. Called around and no body I've found has them yet.
If you do not care about the "comfortech stock" I would look for an American Series at academy. I bought one last year for 799.99 or 899.99 (can't remember exact honestly). I have shot w/wo comfortech stock and could hardly tell a difference in recoil, I duck/goose hunt with mine and constantly...
Yeah I got it from Academy last year, it was on clearance. It is the "American Series" so it doesn't have the Comfortech Stock but I could not tell the difference between mine or my buddies that does have it... Was def a good deal!
Get what you want, get the Benelli.... bought mine and have never looked back, Id go ahead and get a Super Vinci or SBE2, just in case down the road you want the 3.5" capabilities. Got my SBE2 from academy American Series for 799.99 or find a hardly used Super Vinci
You got a great deal even with a scratch, even if you got DW to refinish it you would still be under a new one. I would of been hauling butt too for that deal.
Dan Wesson! I bought my guardian at Autreys a year ago for 1349$+tax, payed cash and they give you 3% off. 50$ more over your budget and you will have a very nice 1911. Id also consider the sig 1911's, haven't held their newer bobtail versions but I had a Carry Nitron (commander) and I really...
