I have recently acquired a great western arms saa replica in 45colt. 4 3/4" barrel. I have done a good bit of reaserch online and have found out it was built in Cali between 1959 and 1960. I am having a hard time putting a value on it. I have shot it and it run flawless. The finish is pretty...
I have found very little about them online and was wondering if any of you guy had any experiences with them? It seemed to be a nice gun with 26" barrels and fixed chokes. I am new to over unders and dont want a pile of junk right out of the gate. It said it was made in Turkey. Also what are...
No real benefit of polishing other then the look. Check youtube for the 25¢ trigger job. There are some good video on polishing all the internal moving parts to get everything as smooth as possible

Thats a great idea. I am not planning on making any to sell. It would be for me and I dont usually sell any of the guns I build from scratch. I think it would be a great conversion piece. I think ill be in the clear if I dont sell to on the open market. I am just not sure I want to...
I am wondering if I would get in trouble if I bought a kit and had the slide laser engraved like this one. I am wanting to build another 1911. Fusion grand sport kit in 10mm??? I think it would be bad a$$.
kimber all the way. I have had a bunch over the years. My daily ccw is a custom bobtailed pro cdp. I wouldnt trade it for the world. it eats any ammo that you throw its way. and it dead on the money.
you could make one like it if you really want to. A plain slide and a laser engraver and your in business. paint the frame OD and ask $4000 for it. LOL!
I think we have a lot of brand haters here. I have had both custom shop and noncustom shop kimbers and have had no problems. The custom shop guns seem to have a little better fit and finish. As far as finishes I dont have a problem with the kimpro. I am personally more concerned with how the gun...
x2 on kimbers. I have had just about every brand of 1911 from RIA to les. I have had close to a dozen kimber and have never had the first minutes trouble out of any of them. I carry a custom bobtailed Pro CDP everyday. I trust that gun with my life! Buy the kimber. They hold there value unlike...
