    No. Picture a straight line up and down with a circle at the top and a circle at the bottom. If the line isn't straight up and down, the circle are moving away from each other left to right. If it's bad off, this will also throw your elevation way off as well.

    It helps you keep the gun vertical because if the bore and the crosshairs aren't perpendicular then your windage will be off on the shot. Same reason we have them on bow sights.

    Never cared for Remington rifles. Savage 110 is more accurate, better design, and better price all in one. Try buying replacement parts for a savage, they can be a pain in the ass to find because no one ever needs them.

    In its current config, the only work done by Pedro is removing the firing pin block under the rear sight. I did the MSG, bring the beavertail to fit the hand, trigger, slide rails, and everything else. This was my gun I built. Wish I had it back.
