I love my Savage Mark ll 22 mag. It has a tight action. The center fire actions fell horrible. I am hoping the Ruger American Gen ll has a little better feeling action. I am wanting a 300 win mag. I got a hankering for a hammer of a round.
I was just talking to a friend up here and we share the same hobby and do some shooting together and he mentioned me looking at the Ruger American Gen 2 instead of a Savage action and Barrel. I did some reading up on it and I really like the fact that it's not a real thin Barrel and it's also...
I have special underwear that support my package while I run. When you sporting a heavy gauge barrel like I have around every little bit helps. Most of you guys will be fine with your Derringer holster.

This is my latest AR-10 build I just finished at the beginning of this months and this was the first time out for a partial barrel break in. All I got out was ten 1 shot and then clean cycle out because I was kind of afraid of where I was shooting. I capped off 1 shot and ran Hoppe's copper...
I was amazed at some of the rigs these guys shoot in competition. I saw some rimfire rifles that had thousands of dollars in them at Riverbend Gun club. Those guys were out there religiously practicing. There's nothing worse than those rimfire shooters because they think they own the range and...
My best friend bought a 750 dollar Ruger bolt action, wooden stock with stainless steel. It was 22 mag also. You could shoot that gun 10 times and it might have hit the bullseye twice. What a let down that was. I was expecting a lot better performance for the bread he laid out.
I completely understand him wanting to go suppressed and wanting a quality rifle in the safe. I didn't see the high dollar list in the original post. I just saw the name of the thread and responded. I wanted a 22 magnum and they're not known for their inherent accuracy to begin with however, I...
I paid 237.00 for my Mark ll 22 mag and it shoots clover leafs at 75 yards. That's the longest I've shot it. What I mean by upgrades is replacing the plastic trigger guard off and replacing it with a metal one. Bedding the action and small inexpensive stuff. I have never shot another 22 mag that...
