I've read horrible things about the battery life on the SIG Romeo1. Anyone in here own one? If so, can you share your likes and dislike about this optic?
Purchased one two weeks ago at Dawsonville Gun and it lives up to the hype. It's my first HK and I was skeptical but it's a nice shooter and built like a tank.
I think three or four rubber horse stall mats would make a good .22 stopper but that's an untested theory of mine. Try it outdoors first then let me know if it works.
Tractor Supply had some great Black Friday deals last year as did the gun haters over at Dicks Sporting goods. I prefer that if the safe has an electric lock that there is some sort of override if the lock shorts or losses power, however, people will argue that key backups can be picked.
Well my personally experience for me is that it works very well. Now if I'm dumping a mag at three feet into a thugs chests I'm sure Massad's method is the way I'll go. I just read one of his books and I found the ballistics section to be very informative. The rest of the book was subjective and...
I used to hate the Glock triggers until I started shooting from the reset and not lettin the trigger all the way out. Now I really appreciate the positive reset of the Glock trigger and I hate lighter triggers now.
I've had a US made 92 since I was 18 and I'm 35 now. Its tight as a snare drum and runs like a champ and is built like a brick ***** house. I have thousands of rounds through it. I'm picking up another 92A1 tomorrow...made in Merica I hope.
I have several 1911s: Springfield, Sig, Rock Island, Kimber. I think all manufacturers put out good and bad guns, just like cars manufacturers. I'm sure a Porsche or two have had problems. My RIA was loose as $hit, the front sight fell off and I had to replace the recoil spring. Would trust my...
Well as you can see from my OP, my other Glocks are 100% and I still own three if them and would trust my life to them all. Just got a bad one in the 22. Which being me back to my point, even the best guns can have issues for a variety of reasons; including a light.
See, I wasn't lying. I bought that G22 specifically for home defense and would have never purchased it if I knew about the problem, since I run a light so I don't blast a family member. It was crazy to sit there at the range and run it 100% without the light and put that light on and watch it...
I'm not a big fan of the Scorpion. I still own it, but the flat face trigger feels funny. It's tight as hell though. No frame/slide movement when I try to flex it with my hands. The screw on the rear sight came out on my first trip to the range too. Luckily I found it and was able to find a...
I researched it online after it happened and it has something to do with the light disrupting how the frame of the gun flexes and it can be fixed by changing out the recoil spring. My 4th Gen G22 never had that problem. Never heard of it either until I researched it, and it seems to be...
Why? My point was to catalog in my mind that even the best manufacturers can put out a gun with issues and those buyers will jump on every forum out there to blast the company. Also, I should have noted that 99% of my shooting is done at indoor ranges. I think my Beretta issues were isolated...
So I was shopping for a new pistol this weekend and the internet is polluted with bad reviews of the gun. After thinking through the many firearms I've owned I decide to not rely on the internet. I've had some very reputable firearms FTF or FTE, etc. I only shoot new manufactured brass cased...
