I have a grip of bare aluminum that is suggested to be anodized to avoid wear. Does anyone use an aluminum anodizing service that has worked well with gun parts.
You've kicked the hive. Don't question that a lever gun in a pistol cartridge is the greatest combat carbine of all time. Next up is a lever gun in 10 mm with a removable 40 round magazine.
Lehigh defence sells 68 gr solid copper projectiles that I have loaded. With N320 there is not a lot of flash. The recoil does seem a little different but not a lot more than 124s. I think it would be devastating on flesh up close out if a pcc. I read 2200 is needed to get rifle like damage...
Action pistol on the third Saturday at 9:00 is a beginner level match that you will probably like. You only need an auto pistol. An OWB hip holster that covers the trigger and two extra mags for double stack guns. they shoot 3 bays 30 rounds each every month except for December. Watch a few...
If it is priced like a parts gun, I would assume it is a parts gun. If it is priced like a factory gun, I would get confirmation from Noveske that the serial number was shipped as a complete gun.
After writing the long reply I remembered one attribute that may identify a Noveske upper. I think only the Noveske uppers had a hole drilled in the front face of the pic rail of the upper. It matches a pin hole in the NSR rail.
Are you really interested if it is a factory built rifle? If that is the case you will probably need to contact Noveske and see if they will look up the serial number and report if it left the factory as a rifle or lower assembly. I have had Noveske stamped rifles but never spent the money on...
I wish they would make a C2 steel frame. I like the weight of a steel frame 2011with a tungsten guide rod. I cut a tungsten guide rod for my steel frame P and I can‘t tell the difference in sight oscillation between it and a 5 inch bull barrel gun. I just found an early P with tree bark grip...
Looks like the upper can be salvaged. If Sig won’t fix it, the only chance is to cut the barrel off and attempt to drive the bolt back out of the barrel extension with a chisel. I have never seen a 16” barrel for sale, only the shorter ones. An 8 inch barrel with an 8.25 inch lightweight brake...
Not directly related to your question on brightness but I find two vertical dots much easier to align for old eyes. With 3 dots I find in quick acquisition I could have the front sight far left or far right. With 2 verticle dots there is no confusion. Either the dots are aligned or they are not.
I got one of the very early ones, serial number looks like on of the first few hundred. When new it would fail to feed with what looked like a short stroke every few rounds with my 130 power factor reloads. It appeared oversprung for standard 9mm velocity ammo. It is a tighter frame to rail...
The B&T APC9 has no gas and a soft recoil impulse un suppressed. I never tried it suppressed. It does feel different, probably because of the hydraulic buffer.
I forgot cowboy. It is impossible to take a revolver away from from someone who has disability in their primary hand to the point that they cannot rack a slide. Brilliant point.
I do not want to sound disrespectful but clearing a stove pipe in your primary hand is probably due to the weakness in your primary hand. A big component in carrying a gun in an environment where you are tasked with protecting unarmed people is retaining the firearm. Giving up a firearm to an...
