  1. Best budget pistol???

Taurus 92. Made on berretta's tooling, but they moved the safety to where it should be on the frame. Love mine. Zero malfunctions so far, couldn't even begin to tell you how many rounds have been through it though.
  2. a bullpup mosin?!?!?

    Well that's just stupid.
  3. .277 Wolverine

Do you work for mid-south or something? It has potential to be another very good round for an AR, but until I can walk into walmart or basspro and buy it, it's just not that interesting to the average shooter.
  4. .277 Wolverine

That is not loaded ammo, it is just the bullet. It still requires you to buy/make the casing and have a loading setup. It also requires a very different twist rate barrel that is just for the heavy 6.8 bullets. I can see it's usefulness, but it is far from "commercially available" everywhere...
  5. .277 Wolverine

It's not a factory hornady load. It's a hornady 6.8 bullet that mid south is using to make the ammo. Definitely will give you a bit more energy at the point of impact, but doesn't appear at this point to be made in a subsonic round like 300bo. I guess it's just a matter of what you need it for...
  6. Firearm trade with someone from another state

But spending 5-10 years of it in jail would not be living the good life! :D
  7. Value of this muzzle loader

Assuming its a shotgun, around $200-250.
  8. Scope thoughts

:thumb: What is your actual budget? Some people think $200 breaks the bank, but others would spend a grand and not bat an eye.
  9. Scope thoughts

Have you have applied for an sbr stamp first?
  10. Your night stand gun....

    JINX!!! :p
  11. Your night stand gun....

Total bs. You do need to aim. At best, you might be 20 feet away, unless you have a mansion. The spread will probably be in the neighborhood of 3- 4 inches when it hits the target. The advantage of a shotgun is multiple trauma points that will usually severely slow down an intruder even if you...
  12. Mythbusters... Breaking Bad... M60 Takedown!!

That was a depressing episode. They tore up the side of that Cadillac big time! Killed all the wooden bad guys though! :D
  13. Ruger stepped their game up

It's not designed for grunts in a working environment. It's for entry level long range competitive shooters.
  14. truck/car guns

Get an underseat gun safe and weld it in place.
  15. What the hell happened to the Mosin market?

Mosin rifles had a 130% increase in cost due to Putin saying he was going to collect them all up and burn them. :p
  16. Delayed......again!

That is entirely up to each individual FFL. There are plenty of shops that will do the nics check on every firearm purchase/transfer just to cover their butt. I'm guessing Adventure Outdoors does checks on every one just because of past problems.
  17. STAG needs to move here

It had nothing to do with where they are at. It had to do with poor bookkeeping and parts not being serialized in a timely fashion. http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/stag-arms-had-items-seized-by-the-atf.932014/
  18. Stag arms had items seized by the ATF

Found this about having them serialized. Looks like it has to be done within 7 days. 478.123 Records maintained by manufacturers. (a) Each licensed manufacturer shall record the type, model, caliber or gauge, and serial number of each complete firearm manufactured or otherwise acquired, and...
  19. Stag arms had items seized by the ATF

And now they want to keep them... http://news.yahoo.com/feds-seek-keep-assault-rifle-parts-seized-gun-143309740.html
  20. Bottom of the gun market yet?

93 million out of work would equate closer to a 30% unemployment. I don't think it's quite that high. It sure isn't 7% though...
