I personally like the more traditional levers over the tactical models. But the looks of some of them appeal to me lately. The main reason I love them is I can carry a lever and revolver chambered the same in the woods and stick to one ammo that day. My issue is once you start you need them all...
I got a lot of nikons laying around lol. Nice setup its going to be fun to shoot. I'm the weirdo that pulls the scope off of every lever I get. I loves the peep sites, but I don't hunt with them. Beautiful setup!
Over the last several months I have been adding to my JM marlins. Trying to add checkered when possible. I sold a Winchester 410 and was able to replace it with a Marlin. So recently I added JMs in

A little off topic, but since you mentioned warranty work and time I'd like to tell you guys about the excellent Ruger experience I had. I purchased a Blackhawk 44 born in 1976 from a gentleman out of Macon. I received it fully aware it had a broke ejector rod. This was around 2015 or so. So...

Picked this one up at the ODT gun show. I have been wanting one for a long time. It is refinished, but they did an amazing job. Serial number dates to 1918.
After 8 years of the local Sheriff's office holding this gun from me I finally got the call last week to pick it up. No wonder everyone has boating accidents! Model 19-3 born in 1973.

Find a good friend that's an FFL. I print my own label and use his business as the return address. Always ships with no issue then. I am shipping to FFLs this way, but its going into their book from me as a private party.
Last revolver I sent to ruger for repair the gentleman on the phone instructed me to put it in a box and ship it via ups with nothing mentioning it was a firearm. Maybe they are getting more strict, but legally as long as it is going to a FFL you are safe. Company restrictions could cause...
