    The maker 85 grain opened up nice for sure. I do not see it on their website, but assuming that the cost is inline with the 95 grain, is that ammo 50% better for X?

    All good information guys. Thank you. I think I am going to go with the shorter length barrel due to the weight and maneuvering advantages since I doubt realistically that I take it out past 500 ever unless it's target practice.

    Long range precision hunting in the AR platform, but not really past 300 yds. I kind of think it is a waste to buy the 12" when you can do so much more with the 18".
