    No need to charge for an ad. If after x number of reposts there was no longer a one-click repost option, and the user had to manually recreate the ad, many might finally give up.

    You are lowballing when you offer them a few bucks less than what you would pay for a new one at the local gun shop. Don’t be that guy! Man-up and pay the used “function tested” premium.

    Same reason some people can't make their damn post to include a description of the actual item or a price. Just "For sale". Or why they can't take a photo without getting their feet in the pic.

    If the automated reminder and one-click repost feature would go away after a certain period then it would probably fix a lot of those. I'll bet most of those guys wouldn't go to the effort to keep manually recreating the ad every month for three years...

    I can't count the number of times that I see an item I want that is overpriced IMO. I send what I think is a fair offer and the seller responds they will think about it. Then in some cases hours later, in other cases days or weeks later you watch the item get reposted and bumped over and over...

    Pricing fairly to begin with is the key as far as I'm concerned. If it's something I'm looking for and I think it's priced right to begin with I just put the "I'll take it and/or send the PM and don't try to push the price lower. Many times I see something I would buy if the price was right...

    Unfortunately a lot more of that going on these days. These guys have figured out that if they wait to confirm a time and place for the meet then they can wait for better offers to come along and not have to take a feedback hit. I was trying to explain to my wife not long ago why I wouldn't...
