  1. I think the USPS has officially gone into “Whatever” mode for shipping

Yep, in the middle of this mess now. Tracking said I had a package delivered on Saturday (that was already a week overdue) - problem is it wasn’t delivered, at least not to my house. Went to the office yesterday and had them look up the number since it GPS logs wherever they scan it delivered-...
  2. Local gun store fail .......

Yeah .... I was actually surprised as this is a fairly big store in the area. I mean they sell suppressors, you would think glock sights wouldn’t be a huge deal ..... oh well, at least I can do my own from now on ...
  3. Local gun store fail .......

That is the down side to buying online - no way to really inspect your item ....
  4. Local gun store fail .......

So, in a half-hearted attempt to support a local brick and mortar store vs my usual online purchasing, I go by to pick up a pair of night sights for a Glock. (Ashamed to say I don’t have a sight pusher - so my goal was to have them installed with the purchase.) Well I find them, and as expected...
  5. PM replys in thread

I only said I offered to buy what you had listed at YOUR listed price (in a private PM). . . then you told me the price just went up $125 . . . But yet the item was still listed at the price I agreed and offered to pay. Call it whatever you want to call it .......
  6. How you pay for ODT purchases.

How is that? doesn't cost anything to send money via family/friends. No different then sending cash or money order - just 100% easier. I personally won't send cash in the mail - and I won't go through the hassle of spending gas and time to get a money order.
  7. I would like to limit the for sale items to ‘1 trip down recent posts ‘

    I don't see quite a few post on here any more . . . .
  8. shooting to far away with a handgun

Not saying it CAN'T be done, just saying that from my several years of watching multiple (100s) of people with varying skills shoot, it is safe to believe that the large majority of those who carry a pistol (yes, for a living and for personal protection) will have a degree of difficulty hitting...
  9. shooting to far away with a handgun

Some of this is humorous and I feel honored to be in the midst of such awesome crack shots. Most people have a hard enough time hitting a torso/head target at 25 yds with a pistol - much less 100 yds. I remember the last guy who bragged to me that he could "dot the eyes" at 25 yds - He failed...
  10. An AR15 is an AR15 is an AR15 .................................

If it matters, I know the ice cream bars that go to Kroger are the same ones that go to Aldi, just in a different box - because they both had a recall at the same time from the same factory . . . so there . . . I shoot my PSA more then I shoot my LWRC . . .
  11. Loosing Money on Trades Here on ODT

Soooo, why is this a thread? Lol .... just curious . . .
  12. Glock "Perfection" Breakdown

    Say what you want about them . . .I like mine . . .
  13. Who got the cheap glock

apparently his other half couldn't run fast enough to the get-away car . . . Took all the charges . . .
  14. Who got the cheap glock

    :thumb: good deal
  15. Who got the cheap glock

    . . . So did the last burglary suspect that I was a part of the manhunt for . . . Lol . . . Not saying - just saying . . .
  16. When to place a member on ignore?

Only one ..... And that was after several threats in a thread that got shut down . . . I really hate threats and I really like this site . . . So best option for all involved was for me to hit ignore and hope I never meet him in person.
  17. Scare sales

Sooooooo . . . . you were/are part of the militant arm of . . . the government (that you speak so violently against)?? Or you went on your own . . . which is doubtful.
  18. Glocks... Glocks... Glocks

    I swapped to a Sig P320 Compact . . . Never thought I'd put the G19 up . . .
  19. What's the story behind your screen name?

One of the many that didn't evacuate before it hit . . . Got trapped in the house due to the flooding and eventually made it to the roof awaiting rescue . . .
  20. What's the story behind your screen name?

From my Army National Guard days as a flight medic during Hurricane Katrina. Lost count of how many hoist rescues we did. Got told I looked like Spiderman perched on roofs and cars - and the nickname stuck.
