    It's taken 40 yrs to get noticeable in the floor upstairs. I'm hoping that the one section where the rooms come together is the main culprit. Hopefully 2 jacks and some shims will help it.

    I'm living in it now. It has metal posts about every 6 to 8 ft, but it needs to be raised about an inch or so across 20+ ft. Looks like I'll be getting another 20 ton bottle jack and some I-beams.

    Does anyone on here do foundation work? I have an issue with settling and there is some sway in the support beams of the house. There needs to be some raising and shimming or new support posts made, if that helps out. Thanks, John
