    PRV replacement fixed it. Of course, first time around, I installed it backwards and one of the sharkbites may be leaking, but the shower is now silent!

    So my pipes are not banging, but when someone takes a shower upstairs the sound of water thru the pipes is deafening. Could this also be the PRV?
