    Got it. I've gotten it down about as far as I think I'm willing to go... It's pretty bare. I really wont have the time to do it until this or next weekend though. Job + 3 kids under 6 = me tired.

    That's totally what I was thinking! Cold bluing just looks so splotchy and uneven. My goal is to have the shiniest Type 53 in existence though, I was going to go with the glossier high temp paint in multiple coats then polish it into a black stripper pole barrel. Man, Nonliberal is wearing off...

    I really like that stock too... I dont think I could justify $200+ for though and then however much for the 10rd mag. You'll end up at a price point that makes newer rifles like the mossberg 100 atr, marlin xl7 etc more appealing... Especially if you like the newer look that the archangel...
