    I had 2 of these. Bought new in 1999 and 2000. Workhorse machines that never gave me any problems. Finally sold them in 2017 and bought a new Sportsman 450 Utility model. It's my go-to machine for either putting the boat in and out of the water or bringing in supper!

    A 1961 model would be a real find. It only was made in limited quantity and with the ADL wood. I think they made about 250 of them in 1961. Very, very sweet rifle. They weren't made again until 1964 with the press checkered wood. There were only 1,200 .280 Rem models made total.
