  1. Binocular recommendation

I would have liked the Leica as well but I have two pair of Steiner, one compact 8x32 and one full size 10x42 and both are damn nice and still have less than the cost of the Leica. I looked through a friends Leica and they are amazing but I don't use them enough to warrant that kind of money and...
  2. Binocular recommendation

If you want to spend 2K I would absolutely go with Leica. If not, then Steiner is a great second choice for half the cost or less.
  3. What’s the absolute best 1” hunting scope (no price limit)

You and I know that but good luck convincing the experts.
  4. What’s the absolute best 1” hunting scope (no price limit)

The Z5 is going to be much better glass. I would think the Z3 would probably be on par with the VX-3HD.
  5. What’s the absolute best 1” hunting scope (no price limit)

The Swarovski is going to be right up there. Better glass, better lens coatings and the 50mm objective should get you everything you are wanting.
  6. Aero Ultralight AR Mounts…Opinions???

Don't like Aero Precision scope mounts. Will not use them.
  7. It sucks getting old

In those type moments, I am not going to be looking at my sights at all. Practice point shooting from just above waist level.
  8. It sucks getting old

The trick is to get glasses with two different lenses. Your dominant eye you want the reading lens and the non dominant eye the distance lens then learn to shoot with both eyes open. May sound crazy but I know a few people who have done it. I also know a few who have had lasix with one eye for...
  9. Scope height does not matter? Huh?

You want to get the proper/consistent cheek weld and you want the scope to be mounted to the right height for your eye with that proper cheek weld. If you have to raise your head or lower it once you have the proper cheek weld then your scope is either mounted too high or too low. You should be...
  10. Scope height does not matter? Huh?

    It matters.
  11. ANYBODY HAVE ONE OF THESE

The point was that the scope mounts too high above the bore on an AR. You will be looking over the top of the Bore Sighter instead of through it.
  12. ANYBODY HAVE ONE OF THESE

That is a good set but not of any use for an AR. If you remove the muzzle device so that the arbor will fit you will see over the top of it when looking through the scope. It is great for other type rifles. Bolt guns etc.
  13. Red dots on pistols

I never thought I would like one but then I got old and iron sights no longer work as well as they used to. I would not have one on a defensive pistol because I don't need it at the ranges I would likely be shooting in a defensive situation but, I have a Ruger MK IV 22/44 with a Vortex Venom...
