  3. Any Japanese sword collectors / experts on ODT?

I wish the real ones were that cheap. The ones I’m looking for tend to run more in the $2500-$3500 range.

  5. Any Japanese sword collectors / experts on ODT?

I've always wanted to get an authentic Japanese sword, possibly with some traceable history, but don't know where to look or how to get started in finding them. I'm not looking for reproductions or ornamental pieces; I want true, authentic, sharp, old stuff. Anyone collecting them? Any advice...

  8. In a pickle - need advice on long term storage of household items

I've thought about that but I'd need a couple 40-45 foot containers that require a semi-truck to move. Since it'll be on my dad's land and not just anyone would be able to transport it, I'm not sure selling them afterwards would be ideal.

We are now renting our old home, but new home is not on schedule. Builder estimates we're 1 month behind at this point. We may be able...

  16. 4 yr old with acute kidney failure - need your prayers

A co-worker and friend's 4 year old son was diagnosed with acute kidney failure about a month ago. It was a scary situation at the beginning as it was pretty far gone before it was discovered; he was swelling and throwing up so they took him to the doctor who took blood for tests and they...
  17. England...

We were there back in 2005 and had a blast; will be going back one day for sure. Here's a couple of things that we learned along the way: 1. They speak English, so no need for translators (sorry - inside joke). 2. Learn and use the trains for transit, and the doors on their trains slam shut...
