    Colt sold them both ways, the high polished ones are called "bright stainless" I believe they come from the custom shop. I like polished blue (royal blue) but with the stainless, I prefer the satin look.

    This was our RV-4. 180mph and fully aerobatic a real hot rod. By far my favorite airplane that Ive ever owned. Had to sell it a while back when the economy took a dump, but hope to be back into another one in the next few years.
