I was a damn fool to get rid of my 2002 7.3 pictured earlier in the thread. It was stolen from the guy who bought it from me about two months after, and never recovered.
So many regrets. Kept my first car (67 Impala with a super nicely built 396) until my 30s. Miss it but don’t regret it exactly.
My biggest regret is the 85 1-ton chevy pickup. Bought cheaply, sold for what I thought was a crazy price ($8500? In 2012). Now probably a $25,000 truck.
Oh yeah...
Boots built the ‘old way’ like those should all be repairable. I’ve had a pair of Danners resoled and liners redone twice. It isn’t cheap though. $150-ish each time at a shoe repair place in a strip mall by my office.
Since you are the expert, you tell me where the dues go. 90% ish of our total bill went to meals, parties, and maintainng our 110 year old gigantic house.
We saw someone from nationals once my year in the fraternity.
You're implying stuff without stating any facts.
Not sure why people hate fraternities and sororities. I pledged a fraternity, after initiation decided it wasn't really for me. No big deal, but my three or four best friends are guys that I met in the process. My wife was in a sorority and was pretty active... she is still tight with her...
I noticed this for the first time today/tonight while using my iphone. Those sort of ads will cut my mobile browsing to zero. Super annoying. I wonder if it's intentional by site staff or something inadvertent / malicious.
Dude - do the bonded title. It's meant for lost title situations. The bond is around $100, fill out a couple forms, and GA will let you register the car and send a title.
Sorry for the delay following up.
After shopping for the 'perfect' truck for a couple of months, one came up that I was interested in, advertised on ebay and the dealer's website. I called and spoke to the owner of the dealership, agreed on details of the transaction, and I paid a $500 credit...
I just finished a ridiculous episode with a used car dealer. Bought a truck (paid cash) in Houston TX on July 10, finally received my title October 8. I've go to run, but I'll update this post later tonight with my experience and advice.
Just got mine for Christmas and am finishing setting it up. Plan to spend some time in the Hooch and my neighborhood lakes up here.
My usual Indian River Lagoon / Mosquito Lagoon Florida trips will also become kayak trips if things go well. Can't wait.
Not meaning to imply anything about your resume critiquing ability, but GT career services and the business school have awesome resources for that kind of stuff that he should look into.
Feel free to IM me for more info.
Funny. It's reasonably cheap and makes a great 'white' mixed drink... I'll keep buying it and serving it, in spite of the occasional gaydar false alarm.
