Loving this thread. Thank, OP.
Just bought a couple of these...
Brunton TRUARC 3 COMPASS
Lowes and HD have a number of small tools that are made in the US now. Stanley makes some stuff in the US but much in china so you have to look at packaging. That actually wasn't the case 10yrs ago so...
How temperature controlled do you want it? Just cool it off so you can work in comfort or are you storing family heirlooms there?
Foam is awesome but it's does it's best at openings/seams. You can save some by just having the ends of your spaces foamed and fill the rest with traditional...
I'm ok with it. I think they can provide decent habitats for dolphins and seals. I imagine they might like the interaction just like a dog does. You can't build a tank big enough for a killer whale so they go nuts.
Free food and games for a dolphin/seal seems fine. Cruel is putting a sweater on...
You can start by reading the article that you link. FFS
"Those were only the deaths confirmed by lab testing, which the WHO itself warned was a gross underestimate because the deaths of people without access to the health system go uncounted, and because the virus is not always detectable after...
I do understand that it is confusing. I'll do my best to explain it, using round numbers and ballparks to get the gist of it...
If the number was what you said it's not, it would be much simpler, but less accurate.
Here's some of the problems:
- There is some uncertainty in each number. Data...
I can agree that selective individual stats are suspect. I'd agree that some were probably misattributed. At the same time, there was an increase in stuff like heart attacks. The theory is that people didn't want to go to the hospital or they couldn't get a hospital bed or the just didn't get...
These are pretty selective stats on the graphic. If you're going to use some of the data, you should include all of the data... which has a total death toll that's way worse than any flu season.
This is from the page linked in the original post:
This info graphic is pretty blatantly saying...
I used to shoot regularly and it's frustrating I can't hit the groups that I used to. I've had some pretty bad sessions also. You know when it's that bad, it's in your head. Just need to calm down, reset, and focus on the basics. If I can't get it together, I just pack up and try some other...
Yeah, if my ad says "firm" or "pretty firm" and I get an offer that's 25% low, I just move on. The lowball doesn't bother me, but I don't owe them a another second of time.
I just find this hilarious. Speaking of things being repeated... as a rule of thumb, just go ahead and start off assuming that any screenshot history lesson is complete bs.
If you're young and don't have kids, make the move and try something new. If you don't like it, move back.
Regardless, why would anyone want to go into the office if not forced? I never hang out with people from work anyway, lol.
Man, that's an awesome pic. Mom and son look genuinely happy there. A lot of families don't make it that far with the ability to look that happy together. Congrats.
Scammers got a family member of mine for a lot more than 3k. Hard working farmer his whole life and what little he saved was stolen.
There's some youtubers that spend their time messing with scammers. I get a lot of joy out of watching stuff like this:
yeah we definitely have some issues, no doubt.
I had a professor that talked about this kind of stuff when I was in college (long time ago). In ancient Greek times, people recited stories from memory. Big stories like the trials of Hercules. I've read it but couldn't tell you more than a...
Take the kids to a military cemetery and have them put pennies on headstones. First time I did it, I was worried it might be a bit heavy for small kids, but it wasn't at all.

I like Lake Hartwell more than Lake Lanier. It's much less busy. If you rent a boat, the guys at Harbor Light marina will tell you a couple good spots to go to.
Nah, the no-maskers will be taken out by Covid 2.0 so they'll be tough to find. I'll be helping anyone that needs help though, WWJD like, so feel free to swing by Suwanee :)
Very cool collection. Magpul is definitely a great company and they make great stuff.
I picked up a Magpul sling on a whim and was surprised how nice it is. They could have just slapped their name on a regular web sling but this is definitely an upgrade.
