    I’m trying to get strip booked on Lake St Clair for next month. This is one of my dream trips also! I’d like to fish for giant Goliath Grouper, tarpon on a fly, tuna, Alaska salmon, Grayling, halibut, white Sturgeon to name a few.

    Been a while since I’ve visited this thread….. here’s my first Smallmouth Bass caught on a fly. It fell for a perch-colored streamer. Au Sable River, near Oscoda, Michigan.

    I’ll second Rocky Mtn PFA…..either lake! Throw 10” worms, A-rigs or big creature baits and you’ll have a good chance of catching a pig of a bass.
