    A buddy I used to work with caught 8 walleye last week around Ridgeway. 3 were in the 6lb range. He was deep jigging spoons in 85 feet of water. The bite was coming around the 65 foot range.

    I fish from the bank. You could put in a kayak and float the river. There are good spots all the way to the Hwy 136 take out point. The kayak is actually a better option but of course it takes 2 vehicles. There are some really nice fish in the 20 to 30 pound range you could catch floating the river.

    Caught these at the Carters spillway. My daughter caught the biggest one.

    Here are a few stripers over the last couple of trips to the Spillway. Largest one was 9lbs and 30 inches long. My daughter was stoked when she caught hers.

    Go to the little lake at Carters. Easy access and great fishing.
